To register an individual entrepreneur for tax registration, citizens of the Republic of
Azerbaijan require only identity cards. In addition, citizens must obtain an ASAN signature from
any mobile operator and obtain a certificate from the tax authority. Foreign citizens must present
a migration document and a foreign passport in order to engage in self-employment. Based on
these documents, they can be registered for tax purposes.
To register a legal entity for tax registration, citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan
need only identity cards. All processes are performed online.
